COUNTY HIRING INFORMATION

All applications must be received by the final filing date established for the position in a legible condition. Applications are only accepted for
positions during an announced recruitment period, and only at the Trinity County Personnel Office. You must complete a separate application
for each position. Postmarks may be accepted although you should check with the Personnel department ahead of time. Resumes may
accompany
a completed application form; however a resume may not be submitted in lieu of the required application. Candidates invited for
an interview must provide their own transportation, food, and lodging. Individuals interested in positions with the County that are not currently
open may submit a Job Interest Card. Job interest cards must have the exact position title for which you are interested in applying.

EMPLOYEE  BENEFITS

 Vacation:
   0 - 4.9 years of service = 10 days vacation
   5 - 9.9 years of service = 15 days vacation
  10 - 14.9 years of service = 17 days vacation
  15+ years of service = 20 days vacation
 Sick-Leave: 12 days per year
 Holidays: 12 days per year, plus one personal holiday
 Other Benefits:
 Health Insurance Medical, dental and life insurance coverage available to employee  
 
and dependents Retirement Public Employees Retirement System with employee
 
contributions paid by the employer after the first year of employment. Benefits subject 
 to Memorandum of Understanding currently in effect.
